EARLY INTERVENTION

Spectrum Center provides a variety of early intervention programs.   Each program is tailored to the individual.  Some of these include applied behavior analysis (ABA), Verbal Behavior (VB), Relationship Development Intervention (RDI), and others.  In addition we work with families with interaction techniques to compliment the intervention.

We believe strongly in the advantages of providing the earliest possible intervention for young children with disabilities.  Therefore, services can begin with children as young as 18 months old and can extend as long as needed.  We tailor each child’s program to target his or her changing developmental stages and needs.  This approach includes comprehensive services provided in a variety of settings. Within each child's program the following areas of learning would be addressed: cognition, abstract language, speech/language, socialization/interaction, processing, play skills, fine/gross motor, sensory integration, visual stimulation, and self-help skills.
