School placement and advocacy on behalf of a child with autism can be extremely difficult to navigate. This process can begin as early as preschool and continue throughout a child’s graduate-level education. The educational consultants at Spectrum Partners work with you and your child, assisting in the following aspects of the educational process:

• Recommendations of any necessary or helpful assessments/testing
• IEP strategy and development
• Representation and advocacy at school meetings
• Observations and recommendations regarding classroom issues
• School training and development
• Guidance concerning school selection, application process, and accommodations for both public and private schools.
• Coordination of specialized tutors when appropriate

We also work closely with families throughout the college application process, offering comprehensive college planning designed for students with learning differences.  We have first-hand knowledge of hundreds of colleges and their available support services. We help students find colleges that will meet their academic, social, and emotional needs, and strive to find colleges at which our clients will be happy, productive, and successful.
